IT Director / CTO is required for a leading insurance business in the UK. The position of IT Director / CTO can be based in Essex, Kent or London.
IT Director / CTO - Kent / Essex or London
A Chase Zander client, a leader in the insurance sector is looking for an IT Director / CTO to work at a strategic level. You will work closely with other Directors to ensure that the company has the right technology to enable them to achieve the groups' targets.
You will work with a team of architects to ensure that the demands of the business are met by IT in a cost effective manner. You will be proactive in researching emerging technology and assessing its suitability for the business.
The successful candidate will:
Be a strong leader with excellent communication skills
Have previously worked at a senior strategic level within IT
Have an excellent understanding of the insurance sector
Be commercially astute
Have worked in a Microsoft / Citrix environment
Have worked for a large company with multiple locations
