Sales Director, Insurance, Northern Region, up to £70k + Benefits + Bonus
Insurance Sales Director, General Insurance Sales Director, Northern Sales Director is required by Chase Zander's prestigious Insurance client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insurance Sales Director to join a very well known Insurance brand that is growing from strength to strength. The experienced Insurance Sales Director will cover the Northern region covering Newcastle, Hull, Sheffield, East midlands, Shropshire and Manchester. Therefore individuals who live in or around these locations and are prepared to travel to these other locations will be considered. Our client will also consider people who want to work from home and can commute to these locations when needed.
The experienced Insurance Sales Director will be looking after 6 regional managers and in turn look after their own teams in the above locations. Your role will be to:
- Working closely with Sales & Marketing Director to implement the overall sales plan
- Managing sales MI
- Setting objectives of the sales force and monitoring performance
- Providing a regular suite of management reports
- Generating new business with brokers and looking after existing relationships
- Presenting at road shows and conference, workshops
- Visit each of the teams on a monthly basis
- Coaching, mentoring team
- Managing sales MI
The required Insurance Sales Director must have:
- Experience of the full sales management lifecycle - managed at least 6 senior managers
- Proven track record of delivering sales record - both individual and management of others
- Ability to develop strategic relationships internally at board level
- Develop new and manage large existing corporate relationships
- Knowledge of general insurance
- Ability to communicate at all levels right up to Board level
