A Managing Director is required to run an Online Insurance Brokerage based in Colchester.
A Chase Zander client, an established player in the Insurance industry is looking for a Managing Director to be responsible for all operational aspects of the company.
Reporting to the board, as Managing Director, your responsibilities will include day to day running of the business, P & L, marketing, operations, product management and sales. You will design, develop and implement business plans agreed with the board.
This role has an online, ecommerce focus and therefore experience leading a small company or running department in a large company with an online/ecommerce focus is essential.
Your background also will include:
Experience as Managing Director or a role with the responsibilities outlined above
Significant insurance experience
Managing budgets of £20+m
Successfully growing an insurance business
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
